Photography for Firstsite - Keep Being Amazing

This year began with a bright, lively, brilliant day photographing the opening event for Firstsite's latest exhibition, Keep Being Amazing. Packed full of wonderful activities, the gallery was absolutely buzzing with creatives of all ages, learning how to draw monsters and zombies, create music from light and try out street dance to name just a few, as well as enjoying the vibrant exhibition itself.

"Channelling the lively vibes of Holiday Fun, the Keep Being Amazing exhibition is a colourful and energetic celebration of the programme, featuring artworks and visitor activities that represent the positive values of Holiday Fun. Artworks displayed within the exhibition include works by Tracey Emin, Paula Rego and Oliver Beer.

Bright and cheerful designs by artist Morag Myerscough have transformed the Living Room gallery into a kaleidoscope of colour, with the gallery space used as a creative making space for you to explore your artistic imagination with a host of free drop-in and pre-bookable activities.

Keep Being Amazing is the last of a three-year series of exhibitions which have been produced as part of the Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme."

Keep Being Amazing is open until Monday 6 June 2022 at Firstsite, Colchester and I recommend going to experience it if you can!
