Remember how last year I started making monthly zines? Small selections of nice things I'd done in the month, mostly just a nice creative activity for myself, really, printed on normal printer paper at home.
Well if you do you'll probably remember that I got as far as May, then went very quiet about it. Basically I got stuck/busy/the rest of the year ran away from me. I'm now working my way backwards to complete the set, but I've also started again with 2020, so here is my zine for January.
Highlights included: a fish-shaped, Nutella-filled cake; a winter walk around Archway/Highgate; a tiny new houseplant with beautiful leaves; photographing steam (twice); an Enter Shikari fan club pack with a really lovely photozine; a really small but very powerful, excellent Sunday night gig from Frank Turner at the Colchester Arts Centre and an unexpected trip to Chelmsford Museum, complete with bees (where I learnt so many new things about Chelmsford I'm still boring people with random facts.)
Hi, I'm Jayne Lloyd, a professional photographer based in Essex. If you would like to speak to me about working together please don't hesitate to get in touch - it doesn't have to be about zines, but it can be if you like.
