When Anna Pool got in touch to ask if I’d be up for working with her on some portraits for her upcoming concert I immediately said yes. Having previously worked together on artwork for her band Wise Woman’s EP, I knew it’d be an opportunity to do something fun and creative.
The concert Anna is performing is the music of Dory Previn, so we wanted to create an image for the poster that paid homage to Dory, but with Anna as herself. I’m afraid to say I wasn’t aware of Dory Previn before, but I am so pleased to have been introduced to this extraordinary woman.
Photographed at the wonderful Minories gallery in Colchester, you can see a few of the images below, and I’ll add more as Anna releases them to promote the concert:
