Home/Work documents the workspaces of people who live and work in the same premises. Through the commercial side of my photography I meet people who work in a huge range of industries and am fascinated by the variety of businesses people run from their homes.

I am interested in how people create these workspaces and how the lines between home and work are defined or blurred. Sometimes there is a distinct line where home ends and work begins - a door that closes; in others there is no distinction - the workspace is shared with the playroom or doubles as the dining room table.

I have photographed 16 workspaces to date, asking each participant to share the reasons they choose to work in this way, their favourite aspects (flexible working, being close to family), the difficulties (fully switching off from ‘work’), and I aim to continue the project to photograph the workspaces of lots of different people, working in a wide range of industries, but all of whom work from their home or within the grounds of their home.
